Booking Appointments

When booking services you can either call to speak to our Front Desk Coordinators, book online, or submit an Appointment Request through our website.  A 50% deposit is required for all new clients or clients that have not been with us in over 12 months.  Clients that have been with us within the last 12 months are not required to pay a 50% deposit with the exception of Keratin, Perm, and Relaxer services.

Checkin Process

We ask that you arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment.  When checking in we ask that you call us from your vehicle to let us know you have arrived.  Our Front Desk Coordinator will call you when we are ready for you to enter for your service.  Please practice safe social distancing while with us for services.  Masks are required to be worn at all times by Staff and Clients for all services.  If you do not wish to wear your normal mask we will have a mask available to purchase for only $3.00.  These masks are washable and can be reused.  We do ask that you do not bring guests with you for your appointment as we have limited capacity in the building at this time.  We also ask that you leave any unnecessary items in your vehicle during your service.  Our Front Desk Coordinator will take your temperature and have you sign a release form upon check-in.

Hand Sanitizer

We will have Hand Sanitizer located at our Front Desk upon entry for you to use.  We will also have it available at each Service Provider station and Treatment Room.  Hand Sanitizer is from our partners at Boardroom Spirits here in Lansdale.

Beverages and Food

We ask that you keep from bringing food and beverages into the salon and spa.  We will still continue to have water available for our Clients.  We have discontinued our hot beverage service at this time.

Color Service

When preparing to come for color services we do ask that you come dress appropriately.  Please do not wear a high collared shirt.  We will not provide gowns at this time.  We will make sure you are draped completely to avoid any color accidentally getting onto your clothing.

Cancellations and Rescheduling Policy

We are kindly asking Clients to  reschedule their appointments if:

  • You have experienced any cold or flu symptoms in the last 14 days
  • Have been in contact with anyone with cold or flu symptoms in the last 14 days

If you are not able to make your appointment due to these reasons or any other reason please call us at least 24 hours prior to your appointment to reschedule.  This way we can reschedule you as quickly as possible and we can give another Client the opportunity to book with our Service Provider.  If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours from your scheduled start time, no show, or arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment twice within a 12 month period we will require you to have a credit/debit card on file to book appointments.  50% of the cost of the canceled service(s) will be charged to the card on file.  You must call and speak to a Front Desk Coordinator to cancel or reschedule an appointment.  Text or Email submissions for these requests will not be accepted.


Our preferred form of payment is Credit/ Debit Cards or Gift Cards.  We will still accept Cash and Checks at this time.  We now have the option to save your card payment on file for future use.  Please inquire with our Front Desk Coordinator for details.  When tipping for services we ask that you use our Tippy system or please bring your tips in cash for your service provider.  The Front Desk will no longer be giving out change for tips.

Effective August 31st, 2023 we will no longer accept Spa Finder Gift Cards

Policy for Minors

Any spa service done on minors may require the presence and consent of a parent or guardian. Please ask when making any spa appointments if a parent or guardian presence is needed.

Cancelation Policy

We aim to provide our clients with the highest quality service and we pride ourselves on our exceptional team. If you cancel your reservation less than 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, we not only lose your business but also the potential business of other clients who could have taken your scheduled reservation time. For this reason, we are obligated to compensate our team for their time as well as makeup for our lost revenue.

The full-service fee will be charged to you for missed reservations that are rescheduled or canceled less than 24 hours notice. All gift certificates will be forfeited if not given 24 hr cancellation notice.

Online Booking Terms And Conditions

Appointments booked through Rapunzel’s Salon and Spa Online Booking are subject to change. A Front Desk Coordinator may contact you if a modification to your desired appointment is needed based on the selected service(s) and service provider(s). Clients may only book for themselves, not another Client.  If you are a new client or a client that has not been with us in more than 12 months, a Front Desk Coordinator will contact you to take payment for your 50% deposit.


If you need to book an appointment less than 24 hours from now you will need to contact our Front Desk Coordinator at 215-368-7061.

You may book up to 3 services at a time in our Online Booking system. Online Booking is not available for all services and service providers. The following services are not able to be booked through Online Booking:

– Chemical Hair Services – Color, Perm, Relaxer, or Keratin Services

– Hair Extensions

– Couples Massage Services

– Custom Spa Packages, Spa Parties or Wedding Services

Gift Card Policy

Gift cards may be used for the specific specials purchased or for the dollar value of the purchase price. No substitution of services permitted.  Can not be used in conjunction with any other specials or third party gift cards. Cash and credit/debit cards only to purchase gift cards. Checks are not accepted.

Rapunzel’s Salon and Spa does accept Third Party Gift Cards such as SpaFinder, SpaWish and SpaWeek for regularly priced services.  Third Party Gift Cards are not accepted for discounted services, specials, product purchases, or Rapunzel’s Gift Card purchases.  Third Party Gift Cards must be presented when checking in for services for validation before services begin.  The leftover balance of a gift card will be given back to the client on a Rapunzel’s Gift Card.

Third Party Gift Cards may not be used for tipping.

Gift Card purchases made online or in-person are non-refundable.

Tipping Policy

Rapunzel’s Salon and Spa Service Providers are always grateful for your business and continued patronage.  If you wish to give your Service Provider a tip to thank them for a job well done we have two options available:

Cash tips can be given directly to the Service Provider or they can be left in their mailbox at the Front Desk.  Tips left using a Credit or Debit Card can be processed using our Tippy service.  This will directly send your tip to your Service Provider.  Ask our Front Desk Coordinator if your Service Provider uses Tippy to receive tips. Check out our Staff Profiles to see if your favorite Service Provider uses Tippy.

Our Team

We are unable to process tips with checks, Rapunzel’s Gift Cards, or any third party Gift Cards such as SpaFinder, SpaWish, or SpaWeek.

Hair Consultation Policy

As part of our focus to deliver world-class services, Rapunzel’s Salon and Spa provides complimentary hair consultations for all Hair Styling, Coloring, and Keratin Services.  You can always feel free to make an appointment to meet with one of our highly trained Stylists to discuss your hair and any question regarding your specific hair needs.  Clients that have not had Color or Keratin services with a member of our staff within 12 months are required to have a complimentary consultation with a member of our Stylist Team before booking these services.  This is to assure that we are able to meet your desired results and at a high level of satisfaction.  You may call our Front Desk staff or submit an online request to schedule your complimentary consultation at any time.

Spa Packages

Third-Party Gift Cards such as SpaFinder, SpaWish, and SpaWeek are not accepted as a form of payment for Spa Packages. Cash, Check, and Credit Cards are accepted as forms of payment for Spa Package services.


Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. This allows you time to check-in, relax, and enjoy some refreshments prior to your treatment. Please note your scheduled time is your purchased time. If you arrive late, you are depriving yourself of the full spa experience as your appointment will end at the scheduled time.

Cell Phones

In order for us to provide a quiet tranquil setting and for the comfort of all our spa guests, cell phones are prohibited.  If you need to leave your cell phone on please leave it on silent.
